We all know that wedding venues get booked a year in advance. It is best for a bride to book her wedding venue as soon as she gets engaged.
Once the venue is booked it is important for a bride to start shopping for her wedding dress. It is important to finalize the purchase at least 9 months before the wedding for 2 reasons:
- Most wedding designers require up to 6 months to cut a dress. Bridal designers don’t stock wedding dresses. These dresses are specially ordered.
- Every wedding dress requires some alterations. We need to allow time to alter the dress and have it fit like gloves for the big day.
It does not matter how much planning a bride does there are always last-minute details that might require a bride’s attention. It is best to have the dress ready in advance to avoid any stress.
